1. Supercomputing cluster.
Elaboration of a supercomputing cluster for genomic analysis company (DNA).
The performance expectations of the company were i20%. After the intervention of Eurogaran, they were multiplied by 100. The result that was expected to be realized in a 1 year was achieved in only FOUR DAYS!. The final performance exceeded by 8 points the usual cluster score for "Mare Nostrum" in equivalent hardware. After our work was finished they started renting clusters to other companies.
2. High performance web server for public service campaign.
A Public Administration agency had a web solution that did not give the desired performance and steadily deteriorated.
The AP's proposal was to reprogram the entire system applications, all within a deadline of less than two months to get it fixed.
A new parameterised server to support high work loads was supplied Eurogaran in ONE night, which allowed the system to attend to 700 concurrent users without any problems. The system never failed again.
3. WiFi interconnection between buildings with poor quality.
At the request of a client, Eurogaran developed a system that balanced the traffic between two buildings with two WiFi connections, with high availability and load balancing.
4. Valid Mobile Phone Number Detector.
A client contacted us regarding the possibility of developing a system that would detect valid mobile phone numbers while discarding invalid numbers.
This was achieved by developing an Asterisk platform that scans mobile number ranges without actually making the call.
The success of this project was so spectacular that the client has hired us to develop other similar applications such as a phone debugger for telemarketing databases.
5. Advanced Firewall.
A large company, commissioned Eurogaran to setup a firewall that could manage the interconnection of eight networks that were connected by laboratories, offices and 350 shops.
This firewall had to provide a very high level of security, with more than 3,500 rules in use while allowing data to flow in a constant orderly manner and in accordance with concepts.
The client is still highly satisfied with the solution several years later.
The firewall has never had any problems neither with downtime nor security related issues since it was setup.
6. Development of a generic Linux system for a meter.
A multinational Taxi Meter manufacturer asked us, through a partner, to develop a generic Linux system running on hardware for which there was no driver support. For some reason specifications were not available for the electronics.
Following in depth research and reverse engineering for several months, we managed to develop such a system. The project resulted in two applications programmed with generic API's, which meant that the goals set by the client were fully achieved.
